MELBOURNE | Vision Apartments (500 Elizabeth St) | 226 M / 741 FT | 69 FLOORS

This proposal has been around for a while but Brady are now marketing it. It's diagonally opposite the Queen Vic markets.

It's also had redesign, and a 6 level height increase to be taller than 568 Collins Street - I think they're going to market this as the tallest residential tower in the CBD. (Eureka / Prima / Queensbridge are naturally on Southbank)

If you really want to get technical, this is going to be the tallest in the CBD Annex. Melbourne CBD = the old Hoddle Grid (Spencer to Spring Sts, Flinders to La Trobe Sts), CBD Annex: La Trobe to Victoria Sts with the western boundary being the Queen Vic markets/ Flagstaff gardens

old design (a few years ago)

I like the new proposal better! What's with the flowers? Is this the Late 1960's? LOL

Archi on OzScrapers keeps a generic city model and adds proposals as they come out to it...

big one on left, in case you're wondering, is the CUB tower proposal that has had no traction for a few years now (Grocon - the developer of CUB - was attempting to offload the site of the big tower with permit in tact). The tower just next to this site is Zen and has just been complete.

Looks to be shorter than the original proposal. I count 63 floors.

What is going on with the building beside it ? is it being re-skinned or is it just a horribly designed tower. The new tower is very nice .

Holy Instant Skyline, Batman! I count 4 rather tall towers under construction in that last shot. And one finished one that will always look like it's under construction (to the left of Vision). Melbourne is on fire!
