Think they're just all-hands-on-deck trying to finish up the plaza and entryways – TDS moves in in 2 weeks.

Looks like they're putting up the glass on the two centre stripes.

Those are windows. The big screen tv will be just above the stairs. If I'm not mistaken you can just make out the mounting brackets for them.

^You are correct. Will be interesting to see if they add (temporary) screens down the road, as this is kind of off to one side.

Wow, they're planting trees on the west side of the steps already.

That is quick, I guess they need to go in sooner rather then later if they were to be put in this year. The trees need to take to the soil before winter.

Some photos from today. The tree well on Hargrave I was talking about is under the orange barricades. It's outside the travelled way on the sidewalk (the area between the bricks) and in the area where the parking lane ends, so should be just fine.

I just drove by and it looks like none of the trees have been planted. They are being stored on the west end by the stairs still in burlap.

Source: @glascurtainAn incredible, impressive, laudable investment in a major Canadian city is happening faster than we knew!
.
This shows TRUE confidence in the City of Winnipeg, the likes of which can only serve the city well in the next 20-30 years. Watch out for this town, it’s on the up and up! .
With a bountiful building stock like this, there’s huge potential here. Why can’t all Canadian cities preserve their heritage this well while also growing for the future?

^Yeah the tree well design looks just like the ones on Portage or corners in the Exchange – no issue at all.

I was passing through the area around 6:00 PM today and they were unloading more curtain glass off a truck on the Carlton side entrance, so I guess they were just waiting on more of that shipment.

That could definitely be a part of it as well... They were storing all the glass across the street before but obviously can't anymore, and there's very little extra space left on Tower 1/2 site.
