Wow this one pic really puts into perspective how close we are to seeing this topped out. By my estimate 4 floors and 40 feet making this one currently a little over 1000 feet tall.

By my read of elevations available on the web, If the framework on the west side of the eastern-most section is topped out, then the middle section has 99' and change to go! The plans also show that the topped out eastern section, (including the apex) is about 950' tall.

I was in Central Park over the weekend for the NYC Half Marathon and it is quite a sight seeing this, Steinway, and the CP tower really making their impact on the skyline.
