Manrush's Boston - Skylines and the Occasional Streetscape

There have been a number of threads with excellent photos that showcase the beauty of Boston's skylines and streetscapes.

This is not one of those threads. My photos tend to be of a lower quality than most photos shown on these forums. Look away, if you feel the need to.

Some more information:
#1 I took all these photos last year, hence the dated look.
#2. I have my flickr account in the signature. This is just some ass-covering on my part.

This is great. Nice to see the city from vantage points we don't typically see.

Thanks for posting!

Thank you. There's more to come.

Oh, and that vantage point happens to be the UMass Boston campus.

Who likes cloudy days here? Because I sure do.

These aren't in the exact order that I took them. Oh well.

What would a skyscraperpage photo thread be without some good old grit photos thrown in?

I took these photos during one of my routine morning commutes into Boston.

The last set will be similar, but in the winter. Look forward to it.

I know you're all not looking forward to it, but I'm back, with more photos. From Winter 2011 onward.

I'll skip the boring fluff and bring you some photos for your, um, something (I don't dare call it enjoyment. That would require my photography to not suck).

so you commute on the orange line eh? Boston always looks great so even if the pics arent highest quality, your subject matter makes up for it. Nice job

Pretty cool vantages. You should try to up your photography game since you have such a novel viewpoint. I see East Cambridge. Do you live in Somerville?

well, as long as you're sufficiently self-deprecating i suppose i can bring myself to enjoy them a little bit.

had my first visit to boston back in april and i have to say... fuck. i was blown away - back bay especially. didn't really make it outside of downtown, north end, beacon hill, back bay and cambridge (or if i did i didn't realize it) but i'm looking forward to going back and exploring more.

also, i don't believe that boston has grit. i think you slipped some rustbelt pictures in there to trick us.

Wow, this is kind of embarrassing. I'm pretty behind on my photo postings.

Fast forward to 2012!
