This project is now called H2O

A tweaked version of that last rendering that I posted in the Calgary Construction a while back

Base doesn't seem to be working. Good height, but that it about all.

Just really really bad. I wouldn't even wish this on my worst enemy (which means to say Edmonton of course)

this should be the prime skyscraper out of many
that are being built in Calgary. I like the design and the glass a lot

it's still surface parking and a small building. there's a pit a block away (midtown) or you could be thinking of one-ten (aka sky tower,) but that's blocks from here.

Love to see a few more of this "type" of mixed use buildings in this area, 150-200 meter range!! This is'nt too bad at all, and 170 meters is nice height. Hope it gets built!

I definitely hope this one gets built. It's such a departure from the standard box tower that it adds alot to our skyline. This and Condo Arts are my two most hoped for projects. Unfortunately now that Torode is claiming insolvency Condo Arts is probably destined for the chopping block.

H2O eh? More like H2No right now!

I don't know, when I first saw this proposal I thought it was pretty sweet. But now I think it is seriously needing a complete rework. When they presented it at the BPG meeting I was not impressed at all with the residential portion, the oval shape just wasn't working for the layouts.

This project probably won't go ahead anytime soon, Procura is a slow moving beast with much smaller projects than this one.

O-Tac: I wouldn't get too concerned about Condo Arts yet. Torode hasn't put any of his "Torode brand" companies into CCAA at this time. Just the two companies he developed arriVa under. Now if he starts chopping the named companies it would be in trouble.

Good to know Bigtime (if you could have theme music for your avatar you would have to use the Phil Collins song ) Any werd on the status of the Mica Lexier squiggle? It'd be a damn shame if that was cancelled too.

I figure the Scribble stays in limbo until something gets figured out for the arriVa 42 site. I wonder if they sell the project will the new owner commit to it?

Edit: Peter Gabriel, although he sure sounds like Phil Collins in the song!

I'm not a fan of the design, although I like the concept. I find it pretty unlikely that this goes forward in its current form, considering the current market.
