Well... it is a very old building so its design/concept is understandable for the time period... Back in the day it was probably as good as it gets (sorta)

This building looks like a computer... Alot of pixels with a computer virus hacking in.... The re-clad is the anti-virus software !

I'm anxious to see the new panels. I suppose it's going to be a while yet.

Question is why it seems to be taking this long. We've had weeks worth of very warm weather now, virtually all of March seemed like very construction-friendly weather, and barely any progress with any of the removal. At least it feels that way for the moment.

Well.. i guess they've been busy installing the scaffolding (which by the way has now reached the top)... they'll be using large platforms to remove the tiles floor by floor (as seen in the video)... it seems like a complex job but even with that said you're right in that it shouldn't be taking this long...

Maybe the workers are afraid of heights ! -jks.

They're still working on the preparations which haven't been without incident. A worker early on dropped a hammer which shattered a glass atrium window and another envolved something flying off the scaffolding and damaging one of the TD Centre towers

What is worse, a FCP with the top all bastardized and stalled at the present state, or a half-ripped off building facade? This project is just going to be a total eyesore until its complete. I'm betting on an awesome payoff though, because the renderings look amazing. It will look like a brand new building when they are done.

How often does one of the world's premiere high rise cities gets one of its tallest buildings essentially rebuilt? Its a unique project in every sense of the word.
