the western facing side has also finally had all of the film removed from the paneling. if you zoom in on blart's pics, you can see the railing has gone up on the base.

there's also another open house there next friday from 6-9pm.

All in all this turned out very nice. Wish they could do something with the lot across the street and get rid of the damn billboard. Or at least put a building there with a billboard on top of it.

I don't understand the lot with the billboard. In looking on google street view, many sides of the billboard never seems to have had an ad in the last 9 years.

Maybe it was actually in use some of the time? If not, why does it exist. Are there really not enough advertisers to use all sides. Only one side seems to have consistently been in use:

I really love how this has turned out. The podium fits well with the other surrounding buildings and having the bridge makes the tower seem like a separate entity, yet unified by design.
