Neat pics, BVic! The exposed concrete looks awesome in the sunset rose sky.

Yeah anyone have an update on when the glass is due to start being installed full swing? Its kinda scary now with so much structure up and nothing on it. Naked building!

About 8 to 9 more floors before the middle section is topped out.

The SB view on LSD has to be one of the most impressive urban vistas in the US (SB 90/94 being a contender as well), and its exciting how much grander it will look once Vista is complete.

Thanks for the masterful shots as always, BVic!

You're right, it is EB. I keep thinking SB since that's literally the direction the highway goes through Chicago city limits, even though both 90 and 94 are both east-west highways as they traverse the rest of the country.

We need a few more 7-800 ft towers between OBP and WTP from that vista to fill in the skyline. Wanda will help and so will the BKL Tower if it's ever built.

JHC looks extremely imposing from this angle. Such a beautiful building.

Vista is doing its job to help enclose Grant Park in a wall of skyscrapers.

I would imagine from this perspective, Vista would top out to somewhere roughly around the pinnacle of 2 Pru?

In fact, Chicago has over 120 skyscrapers already if you want to get technical.

The gold protective screen reflecting the sun looks awesome from multiple points around town. Especially when looking east on W Fulton Market in the West Loop right around dusk.

You are missing a digit, Chicago has over 1000 skyscrapers and no, skyscrapers aren't buildings over 500' tall. That's a moronic revisionist definition of the word considering it was being used to describe buildings like Home Insurance or Monadnock well over 100 years ago. You can't just up the definition of a term because people happen to build a lot more tall buildings today than they used to. If it was used to describe 150' tall buildings in the 1890's then it can be used to describe 150' tall buildings today.

The curving concrete is stunning. The glass will look even more spectacular.

Just because there are more big buildings doesn't mean we should change the term.

If my memory serves me well this version of skyscraper(150 meters and up) is from the same idiots who list WTC1 as being a taller building than the Sears. They have zero credibility to me, and are the Olympics committee of the skyscraper world. Very corrupt
