Holy crap, I cant believe how fast this one has risen. At this pace it should be topped out soon.

I was not expecting the crane to be jumped. It is going up fast. The structure is most likely post-tension concrete.

Nice they raised the crane. I wander how tall the spire will be on it. I hope they light it up really nice at night.

Construction Site Rendering

I took a quick picture of the rendering at the construction site. I believe this is the same one that was in the news before the tower broke ground. This rendering shows 22 floors, but we do not have an official count yet.

Yeah, thats the same rendering, I cant believe that its almost halfway done and nobody knows the height. Im not there otherwise Id ask one of the construction workers.

The building is starting to become visible from 288 when driving up from the South. It's barely poking out above the Toyota Center now. The precast that I saw is pretty lame so I am now not too upset that it's apparently only going to be 19 floors.

You just gotta remember it's replacing a surface parking lot, not everything can be a Mainplace or Discovery Tower.

True, but this is facing the new Discovery Green. If this were one or two blocks away from the park, I wouldn't care a bit and would consider it decent infill.
