Nice update! I was wondering how things are looking down there. Moving pretty quickly it seems.

Those lofts in the old building in the background of the last photo, aren't they done yet? Are the prices there reasonable? It was an ugly building prior to renovation but it still is less than attractive to me.

2121 Arch is still under construction believe it or not. They've been working on that building for at least the better part of two years. Cira Centre went up in half that time and they had to start from scratch.

That last shot make the area look very vacant. I can't wait to see some real construction going on here.

The area is quite on the vacant side. I should hope the residential developments on that stretch of Market drags some street life along with it.

but it's a nice example of adaptive reuse. Hal or someone who actually feels like looking it up can tell you more, but the building is almost 100 years old and was the former location for the Daily News during its hey day. it was so ugly for so long, now it's got some charm to it...

Murano is gonna be like Cira Centre....

Me thinks it's gonna fly to the sky.

Comcast Center, however, seems bogged down, still, in all of that concrete casting in the core.....I don't see how it can be ready in Fall 2007 - but maybe so.

Murano will be the one to beat, as I think Mandeville will be pronounced DOA soon....GoDiva - any news on Mandy?

Gia
