I don't know about you, but I think it's fantastic. The base that's made to look like townhomes borders on kitschy, especially considering that area is already packed with legitimate historic townhouses, but if the materials are well-selected and the designs are not too "Disney" imitative, I say don't change a thing. This is a amazingly unique building in a prominent location. It will be an instant Pittsburgh landmark.

Nice find, Gilamonster.

While elements of the development have been reduced (ballroom size, restaurants, etc.)... the article maintains it be 23 stories.

The pool is cool, but the rest of the design is pretty uninspired.
