1-Barcelona, a young, vibrant, happening city, I was blown away. This is a city where the best is yet to come
2-London, as diverse a city is hard to find on planet Earth, aside from NYC. New and old, a great world capitol.
3-Hard choice, Paris is great, Rome is amazing, but static. So, I guess, since it is technically mostly in Europe, I go with Istanbul. Another dynamic city where the best is also yet to come.

For the benefit of everybody else, Artem asks:

"Why have nobody written the names of our vast Motherland? Has anybody born in the USSR seen this thread?"
************************************

My answer. To the second part, I have been born in the USSR and have visited this thread. Regarding the first part, IMO, the topic of this thread does not lead to any constructive discussion. Sure, there are many cities in Russia and former SU that are worthy of at least being favorite of somebody... but is it really worth entering pissing match about it? Just get used to the fact that Russia gets no love.

Hmßßß!!!

Frankfurt above Berlin??!!

From the big metropoles I hav visited so far:

- London
- Paris
- Barcelona
- Berlin
- Munich
- Hamburg
- Sevilla
- Cologne
- Amsterdam

And I can't decide between Paris and Berlin conercning my favorite.
The next one definitely is Sevilla (a very underestimated city imo)
London's centre looked desperately empty to me with all teh pubs closing around 11/12 am. Though, it has some very cool parts, of course.
