Nice pictures! Are those old industrial ruins all in one place?

capitale! this little collection, exemplified by the railroad bridge crossing raccoon, done earned you a nice big pig trophy.

love the stuff along the river walkway, don't think i've ever seen that side of town.

Okay, 21 is hurting my brain. I didn't even know there was even a theoretical line-of-sight from the War Museum to Notre-Dame.

I found this picture very intriguing.

Also I enjoyed 'Lonely boxcar raccoon'.

Wonderful thread and pictures, Flar!

I´ve liked to watch Ottawa again. I like very much your city. I was there twice and I´m wishing to return. It´s a pretty and pleasant city. Everything is surrounded by green areas and parks.

Your pictures are very good, amazing!

Congratulations and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Thanks for the comments The Ottawa River has everything from rapids, to islands, to bays the size of lakes, and almost all of the riverfront is public land. I haven't explored all of it yet.

Yes, they're along the river on both sides. There is more that I didn't include here as well. This was originally a lumber town and there are still some paper mills operating, along with some hydroelectric power stations.

That's from the rail bridge.

I almost didn't open this. The title sounded too much like creative spam. But then I saw who the OP was.

Flar did it again!

I know a lot of people here wish you were back in Hamilton, but I love what you've done with Ottawa. A thread like this really open my eyes to what the city has to offer.

Excellent job, man.

Unlike Hamilton, a lot of people photograph Ottawa, so I'm forced to look for different perspectives.

Thanks for the replies!
