Doesn't anyone live near this, Arthaus, and Hyatt Centric who can snap weekly or bi-weekly pics now that I'm gone? It would be appreciated.

I don't live in CC (Francisville), but I do work at Two Liberty. I can snap pics while on my lunch break!

I'm at 12/Spruce so I could cover Arthaus and the upcoming Sansom Street projects. If only I'd paid attention to the 5 million posts on how to upload photos...

While walking by the site at lunch, I noticed a cement truck within the fencing area. As I was leaving, another truck from the same company was heading towards the site. I think it's too early for a foundation pour, so I wonder what's going on!

Concrete is used in the ongoing underpinning work.

The project is flying now.

You can see the site here - lower right - really helps picture how a 600 footer at this spot will bolster the skyline.

I wouldn't say "flying" Bob.

I walk past this site everyday and have never seen them working past 3pm. Not sure what that's about? Assuming these Jersey dudes (all the license plates are Jersey) put something in the contract to be wrapped by 3p to avoid bridge traffic?

The Hyatt Centric guys work till 2. My office overlooks that site. They get there pretty early. I think it's a union thing.

Union (or non) workers rarely work past 3PM, especially in summer. i think the reasons are obvious.

CITC guys were there past 3pm throughout the entire process - so there's more to it than that - which I'm assuming is multi-shift/financial related.

It probably means CITC was behind schedule for a very long time. In terms of regular shift construction work, you typically see guys check out 2:30-3PM. Obviously an owner can pony up if they are under pressure to recover schedule, but even then it's up to the workers (who dont work for the developer or contractor in most cases) to accept the OT offered. Usually union guys get 1.5x pay for OT and Saturday, double on Sunday. If you have a project with all evening hours some unions have shift differential costs which add some level of premium to the hourly rate for night work. You often arent getting great productivity from these workers in hour 9 or 10 in reality.

Equinox. After denying it for awhile, the Laurel will confirm it next month.
