Do you know yet where your new skyscrapers will be in your layout? Are you planning on demolishing anything or adding an extension near your new curved buildings?

They will be south of the new curved buildings. Btw my city is situated like Milwaukee or Chicago, so the lake sits in the east.

This is quite good. The colors and massing, especially in the high rise district, give it a good sense of realism.

The only suggestion I might have is to use more tile elements on some of the upper rooftop studded surfaces to further enhance that realism.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind.

I'm planning on having a new skyscraper in a few weeks. I've decided to have a little fun with this one and not show an LDD screenshot beforehand so I can keep it a secret until I reveal it. Basically what Spencer does for every one of his

The only hint I'll give is that this model will be my first that will connect to one of my previously built skyscrapers. Here's a list of all the ones I've done:

1) Sears/Willis Tower, Chicago
2) Empire State Building, NYC
3) Burj Khalifa, Dubai UAE
4) Chrysler Building, NYC
5) CN Tower, Toronto Canada
6) World Trade Center, NYC
7) Trump International Hotel & Tower, Chicago
8) GE Building at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, NYC
9) US Bank Tower, Los Angeles
10) John Hancock Center, Chicago
11) Eiffel Tower, Paris France
12) Aon Center, Chicago
13) Richard J. Daley Center, Chicago
14) CNA Plaza, Chicago
15)

Hey guys I recently placed three orders to Bricklink, including 1700 1x2 trans-clear plates, so expect new pics soon.

Some of mine in 1/650 scale

I'll play too. I have recently gotten into the 1/650 scale. Here are some of mine:

Leveque Tower (Columbus)

Chase Tower (Indianapolis)

Loews Philadelphia Hotel ("PSFS" Building)

I'll take suggestions for #4. I've been playing around with a few buildings, but am stuck and can't find one I like.

I hate having to buy the 1x2 trans-clear plates on bricklink! They used to be so plentiful at the nearby LEGO Stores. I just had to order 600 for my upcoming building! That would've cost only $15 in a pick-a-brick cup!

Its nice to see some models of buildings outside of NY and Chicago (nothing against those two cities but they got a lot of attention). All three of these models look good.

I assume you have considered the skyscrapers in Cleveland such as Terminal and Key towers?

New Art Deco Building

Since we're on the subject, here's my new art deco building which is 340' (102m).

In the far upper right is the beginning of the Twisting Tower.

Brickworld is debuting a new LEGO exhibition event in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 1st. A select group of my models including the new 1WTC, from my exhibit Skyline: Microscale Skyscrapers in LEGO, will be part of the display.

Click the link or the picture above for all the event details.
