Public Meeting re: conceptual designs for SFU Transit Hub

I just received this in my e-mail inbox. For any of you interested, here are the details--with contact information--of a public meeting to be held at the Burnaby SFU campus regarding "exploring options for an improved transit hub at SFU."

Simon Fraser University, Simon Fraser University Community Trust and TransLink are exploring options for an improved transit hub at SFU. Share your ideas and comments as you learn about the project objectives, challenges and process in developing the conceptual design options for the hub.

Sounds worth the trip up the hill.

Any word on a new student building. I worked on a pre-plan 1.5years ago.
I would be interested on any news. Also, could someone who does go take a camera. They may have models and such not posted yet.

it would be cool to get a gang of people together, some kind of group, and build a website/start a petition drive/otherwise put pressure to push for a funicular/short ride up from the skytrain station to sfu.
