^It actually is three buildings; two skyscrapers and a 20 story hotel. We lost the rendering that showed all of them together.

I wonder if the plot at the top left corner will remain empty or not...

There was a police station and compound there last year. The buildings were small and old and I assume are government owned so I doubt there will be the slightest trouble when it comes to bulldozer time!

"erect"

Waiting for the crane is a slow and agonizing process. We have this project, Wheelock Square and a few other LuJiaZui sites all at this stage. Makes me impatient when I can't watch them grow before my eyes.

^Such a huge site had the potential to host something bigger (taller) with more buildings (a complex à la Rockefeller Center or WFC)

It's hard to tell, but, not much seems to have changed.
That will be a great vantage point to see the complex rise.

The size of the plot is just ridiculous.

Looks like Tower one will be rising fast soon, Tower two should be above ground in August at this rate.

Two cranes on this mother. It should rise quickly. Hopefully, we'll see the second tower soon.

These towers will have a major impact on the Pudong skyline when completed.

These two are going to fly to the top, all concrete, no slow switch over to steel.
