I am pretty sure whatever you are talking about was temporary...

007, yes I did have to include that photo...

Thanks again, of course!

Great shots of my stomping grounds. Seattle has a variety of people as well.
On the hierarchy of sinners I didn't realize we sports nuts were worse than babykillers. Could be worse though. At least I'm not as bad as a sodomite.

Very sweet pics of the other side of Washington State! Makes me proud to live here. I visit Seattle from time to time and can honestly say each time I see something different. Can I save the pink elephant picture? I can use that to prove Ive seen it and wasnt drinkin LOL. Anyway, fantastic job! You have any more? And what about that Bellevue? That place is exploding in growth!

^ Light rail opens next year (from Downtown to the airport - extension to the University of WA starts later this year).

There's also a few photos of the South Lake Union Streetcar in the set (aka the SLUT).

You might know-- I heard the streetcar was pushing 1400-1500 riders a day. That sound about right to you?

Nice some people say that Miami`s skyline comes in 3rd behind NYC and Chicago. I completly disagree it`s Seattle all the way , and I`m looking forward to visiting someday !

I think it's growing a lot since tourist season started. Latest numbers I've seen are 1,325 from the 5/19 Seattle Transit Blog (http://seattletransitblog.com/2008/0...-ridership-up/) and 1,064 which was the April average as reported in the Times on 5/23 (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...etcar23m.html).

I work at 3rd & Stewart and I walk by it whenever I get coffee. I agree with the Seattle Transit Blog that it's filling up during rush hours. I wouldn't be surprised to see it hitting 1,500 riders/day for June.

The Pacific Northwest is gorgeous... I loved living in Anchorage, Portland, and Eureka, CA. So beautiful and lush

Thanks again, everyone

dawickham: I think it pretty much goes without saying, but anything posted on here can be saved for personal use! Glad you like that one, and sorry for the late reply.

The streetcar varied from half-full to people standing when I used it
