once you take away the translink tax it's not much more than elsewhere

In northern Alberta it ranged from 131.9 to 141.9 and in NE BC it was 147.9 yesterday

It's only going to keep going up too, summer will be brutal.

Well there are taxes here too, that excuse doesn’t really fly.

Anyways, people in Vancouver should start buying smaller cars.

I drive a tiny K-car here in Japan and even at 140ish a litre 30 bucks gets me about 500km.

New Blackvue dash cam installed. A little bit of a different perspective. Sorry about the borders.

Stratford Ontario on a sunny spring day. Slow food market in the new Market Square just before an incoming finger-like orb squashed the centre of the city.

Shops across from the square.

Shops across from a different side of the square.

Further down the street.

A representative scene with regard to the 5% of this schizophrenic city that the 95% of the locals and yokels from the surrounding area never see because it's not on the way to Walmart. And yes, I do realize that it's impossible to say something like that without sounding snarky. From left to right: a real estate agent's office that's not in a strip mall or a stand-alone building on a major thoroughfare with ample free parking; a boutique optician; a Thai restaurant run by actual Thais; a funky "foodie" restaurant without a name sign; a doorway with a horse painted on it for no discernible reason.

It's a thrilling town if you're over 65 and you like classical repertory theatre.

Unreal Edmonton photos. Toronto and Vancouver look great as well.

I must say Stratford is a quaint but really enjoyable city to just spend a few days in and soak up. I love going there when I can.
