The TOA for 2015 was announced this morning. Edmonton will get the final stage again. But this year will see Jasper in the mix with 2 stages. One stage ending at Marmot Basin. All stages are in North Central Alberta. Starting in GP.

Awesome, hello Jasper trip. I have done that climb on a mountain bike, it hurts.

I suppose the faster you ride, the harder it is for all the mosquitoes up there to latch on?

Try it on a road bike. I have done the Cavell climb and that is tougher. Should be a good weekend in Jasper.

Last year on a ride up the Maligne road to the lake I had 3 bears watching me from the road side. Wonder if they will make the riders carry bear spray.

The amount of view-able wildlife in that corridor should make for some good viewing.
And this will be some much need international exposure for Jasper.

Expect a couple of more big names. With the Team Time Trial and the timing before the Worlds in the States there will be a few big guns finalizing their training.

I already have my hotels for Grande Prairie, Jasper and Miyette.

Really enjoyed watching it this year. Too bad the weather was so ugly.

Was it just me or was there much less hype, promotion and fanfare this year other than the Jasper legs?

I'd say so. There seemed to be much fewer people watching on the streets, though the cold and wet weather this weekend likely didn't help matters.

Was at the first 4 stages. GP was ok. Jasper was hoping. They did a good job Saturday. Have some great shots. In fact one of the Pros asked if he could use it on his Website. Missed the last 2 stages as I needed to head to the interior. Have not seen any video but the Marmot climb should ave looked good. Rode up that day for the second time and feel for the guys. The last 300 meters kick the crap out of you.
