Hit 6 degrees yesterday, and we even got some rain which is very uncommon for us in November. It's currently 5 degrees as of 11 am, heading up to 9 today. Forecast has us hitting 15 again tomorrow.

Currently -1C and overcast in Moncton. We were supposed to get a couple of cm of snow today, but that didn't materialize.

We are however supposed to get 10-20 cm of snow tomorrow afternoon and evening. Not enough for a snowfall warning however.

After this, the ongoing procession of storms we have had for the last couple of weeks appears to finally be coming to an end. The long range is surprising sunny, with temperatures by the weekend rising to +4C.

EDIT:

They just upped the snowfall prediction tomorrow to 15-25 cm and consequently have issued a snowfall warning.......

Temperature has been steady all day pretty much at -12C right now, but the wind is cold. -22C wind chill. Supposed to be above 0 for highs the rest of the week., but I'm not really believing that right now.

^I suspect we may be waiting quite some time before Victoria and Vancouver join that list.

Yes I think you’re right. At that latitude the Pacific is warmer than the Atlantic?
That coast is frost free all the way into Alaska afaik.

The winter forecast is above seasonal for most of BC due to El Nino. There's a chance they might not even make the list.

Victoria proper has a very real chance of doing that (roughly 1 out of 3 years don’t go below -4), Victoria airport has a chance, but it is a little more rare (but has been done a few times since 2000 already). Vancouver (outside of West Van or the Harbour weather station) is a harder sell. Not impossible, but it will take quite a mild winter to do so.

1C and mainly cloudy.

-3C (wind chill: -7) was the low this morning.

The warmspot was Claresholm, AB at 13.2C.

Our mean November temp after 18 days is 0.7C. That's the coldest November since 2012 (-0.5C) with plenty of days to drop even more. We are witnessing something historic.

Wow, I knew it was cold the other day but didn't realize it was that cold.

Today was mild at least. But wet and gross.

Awesome mild day of +11 C at Spruce Grove, Ab. (near Edmonton), sat on the south deck with my coffee with the warm rays of sun feeling much more like a mild March day. Took out the chainsaw and felled a whack of large dead trees, gonna have a huge amount of wood for the the fireplace, hopefully that fireplace won't need to be used half as much as last winter !!
