In late June, a friend invited me and a few others to visit Austin while she went through orientation at UT. The only other time I've been there was a field trip to see the State Capitol in 8th grade. I enjoyed my visit, so much that I may transfer just to be in Austin. You can expect more photo threads of the city by me in the near future.
Forgot to take the Nikon, so the iPhone 5 was used to take these photos.
When we arrived, we parked in a surface lot just out of this photo. The same lot a 47-Story, Mixed-Use Tower is now planned for.
Really like the alleyways. Also common to see in Galveston, but not so much in Houston.

Inside an antique shop:
No photos allowed inside this costume shop, but we couldn't resist the urge to take just one. :p
