Smile Niagara Falls on a very special day

Following with our amazing trip along New England and Canada, after visting Torointo, we reached Niagara Falls.

That was a very special day for us, as we celebrated my wife´s 37th birthday there, on last Oct 10th, and what a better place to celebrate it than Niagara Falls.
This was my third time visiting the Falls, the first one for her, but this was my best ever.
Although we spent there only one night, we had enough time for visiting everything and enjoying Niagara Falls in all its intensity.

I hope you enjoy all our pictures as we enjoyed our limited time there.

This is the view of the Horseshoe Fall from our room at the Embassy Suites, on the 41st floor:

Some other views of Niagara Falls, Ontario, from the hotel:

We could see Toronto in the distance:

Victoria Ave, with many restaurants and attractions:

The corner of Victoria Ave and Clifton Hill with the Ripley´s Moving Theatre:

More Clifton Hill, full of attractions, like an amusement park:

The Rainbow Bridge. USA is on the other side of Niagara river, just in front of us:

The American Falls and the boat "Maid of the Mist":

The Horseshoe Falls:

Many tourists enjoying the always amazing view of the Horseshoe Fall:

People ready to sail on the Hornblower, like we did before:

Gardens in Niagara Pkwy:

Spanish Aerocar, built in 1913, and designed by Leonardo Torres Quevedo:

Floral Clock:

And then, we continued our trip to Watertown, NY...

Greetings from Madrid, Spain.

The Niagara Falls view of Toronto (and vice-versa) always impressed me. The same with the Niagara Falls view of Buffalo and vice versa. It's a good city for skyline lovers.

thanks, I love Niagara Falls! I remember visiting there frequently as a child before all those high-rise hotels were built. The view of Toronto is amazing from straight across the lake; but a considerable distance (100 miles, I think) to drive.

Seeing Toronto all the way across the lake like that is insane. Amazing. Thanks.

Gloriously beautiful water fall. Cool distant shot of Toronto. Great birthday present. Thanks for sharing.

Great pictures! I loved the pictures from your hotel room the most. Interestingly enough, these are views locals don't really see; why stay in a hotel when you live there, after all? Being someone with a family cottage nearby, I've never been up in any of those hotels, so I've never seen those views.

You can see it from even farther away. I've seen Toronto from 43 miles away, near Sanborn, NY (west of Lockport).

Beautiful, natural feature adjacent to a disgrace of human effort (town).

Nice tour Danny. NF Ontario sure has gotten taller (and somewhat tackier) since I last visited some 30 years ago. That shot of Toronto in the distance is a gem. Thanks for sharing your trip.

Love it when you see Tronto and Buffalo from distance.

Nice photos! Niagara Falls is one of those places that is simultaneously a clichéd tourist trap, and profoundly amazing.
