On the other hand I understand the lack of windows on the downtown side--190 is too close to the building and too short to have too many windows in the upper floors. I'm not sure about that. If you look at the floorplans for Waterfront Place and Admiral's Walk- they're half-buildings. There is no center corridor on each floor with units on both sides. In both, units only are on the water-side and the corridor is on the exterior wall of the city-side, thus few windows. They want some building height but don't want to build 100+ units at a time. Some of the end-units have both water and city views, but the money-maker is waterfront view.
Some of the condos on the Gardiner in Toronto almost touch the slow-lane.
