Wow, that's close to the edge of what looks like an unstable slope. How were these homes approved to be built there? How do the owners get insurance?

Tower crane at the construction site for a Hilton Garden Inn on Highfield Street in downtown Moncton.

The lighting is really neat. It was taken just after a thunderstorm passed through the city earlier this evening. The building in the background is the federal office complex in the city. In the background on the left, you can also catch a glimpse of the Avenir Centre, our new 8,000 seat arena in the city. This was the impetus for the construction of the Hilton Garden Inn, as well as a Hyatt Place Hotel immediately adjacent to the arena. A Home 2 Suites by Hilton is also anticipated in the neighbourhood in a new development (the Junction Urban Village).
