Actually there are 7 bridges in that picture. You forgot the CP rail bridge that is open in the picture (in front of Oak St Bridge). Interesting shot though.... Lots going on there.

Since that picture was taken, Centrepoint has topped out now (and it might look just as tall as the Metrotowers from that viewpoint), and the phased office building has been completed.

New Westminster at sunset as seen from SkyTrain

The last one is a little fuzzy on account of my use of a 10x zoom from the zooming SkyTrain.

I was heading south on Sunday when I noticed that I could see mountains due south. That surprised me, to say the least, and I did my best to take a photo of the phenomena from the SkyTrain.

White Rock Is Moving!

Sadly, the White Rock will be moved from the beach this June to be located to city hall due to salt water erosion. Its being lifted by a Korean made crane located in Oregon that can carry 300 tonnes.

^ What??? That is ridiculous. I didn't know rock could erode (except for over the course of 100s of years). I guess it could become a public safety hazard in the 28th century? Fuck I have great memories of climbing up it utterly smashed and destroying my ankle on the way back down.

^Haha, Ya that rock has thousands of great memories. The beach just wont be the same with that rock missing. Well that part of it anyways.

-EDIT-
LOL! I just found out that article was an April Fools Joke. Man it totally got me

Yes, let's move the rock to city-hall where it will attract the least tourists......stupid.
