I wish my city would advertise this! It's true here too, but half of drivers are morons and don't know it. They think it has to be painted to be a crosswalk.

I think the photo you're talking about is Pearl District, the Cosmopolitan is the blue glass tower with the crane. South Waterfront hasn't seen any new residential high-rise additions since the housing crash, just 6-8 story apartment buildings and some additions to Oregon Health Science University's campus.

A beautiful set downtownpdx! It has been 5 years since I've made the trip over to Portland. Hopefully I can head over and do a weekend visit later this year.
Of course that means possibly making a quick stop in Huntington on the way
