[Abbotsford] Central Park Village | 2x26 Floors | Proposed

A large tract of land in downtown Abbotsford is being rezoned for a major high-density village style development including 2 towers of 26 floors and 9 low-rise buildings.

All the information is in this PDF from Abbotsford's government site:
https://abbotsford.civicweb.net/Docu....aspx?ID=30622

I passed by the site a few days ago and I believe the project is green lighted as they are already constructing the sales centre. Haven't found the final word from city council yet so I posted it as proposed.

Thanks! I was trying to figure out how to do that.
The small brown building beside Gladwin Road there is what is being built now.

Looks like development is moving slowly along. Phase 1 of Hudson Loft sold out and Phase 2 is beginning.

Looks like the hi-rises will be the last phase after sales are gauged.

The project was approved by the city council and I saw excavation of the first apartment project yesterday.

This project along with the Mahogany at Mill Lake tower be the catalyst for Abbotsford to start growing up and begin densification of its city core along South Fraser Way.

Looks like the low-rise loft and commercial portions were/are being built:

The towers will probably be last.

Whats Abby's current tallest building? I'd assume there are no height restrictions out there right?

Mahogany is currently the tallest. And no official height limit, just nimby's.
