I talked to a guy tonight who said that the idea for a single security point is being debated, and will probably be tossed out.

If they keep the daily pictures focus on the same areas, you can probably create fair time-lapse videos of the construction of the terminal.

I amazed of how much work they do on that site in the two day intervals between pictures. Fast compared to MB Hydro.

One website: Due to technical difficulties, images have only been posted from the Tower camera this week.

Last I heard, and this is from Bob Edgar (VP Airport Redevelopment) was that nothing was set in stone on redevelopment and that it is still slated for demolition in 2009. This was in April - I personally spoke with him.

dont worry...it is all in the works...it is difficult to secure tennants 3 years in advance...the airport guys are being dinks about it for some reason....there is one significant developer who will redevelop it, but it takes time for a project of that size.....it will be the aviation museum for half of it and redeveloped tenant space elsewhere...its all shaking down.

Standard Aero has two large projects in the pipeline right now but they need to see how the new ownership of the company shakes out first. The new owners are a company out of Dubai.

.....world's tallest building in Winnipeg?

The last line was a joke people!
