Has anyone tried "Sassi: Kitchen and Bar" on 4th street? The menu looks decent, but I wanted some more opinions before I go.

I had a pizza there that was quite good. The decor is something to behold as well!

Try the turkey. Trust me, you'd think it's a waste given the opportunity cost of not eating brisket or pulled pork, but it's unbelievably good.

This place is awesome.

I went to Trolley last night. Only had beer, but their brewed in-house stuff was great. The place is huge (apparently there was a basement too) and quite busy. Notably, the second floor is high enough up you can see the fireworks down at the Stampede grounds. Quite well done aethetically, albeit in a generic sort of way. Love the openness to the street, especially the second floor.

I would recommend it.

That makes it a perfect candidate for rich Corinthian leather

Looks like a nice place but it was absolutely empty Friday at lunch. The only brutal thing is that the have a massive patio on the north side of the building, so it's always in the shadows!

A friend was there a couple of weeks ago for dinner on a Friday night. The group he was with tend to be pretty picky and it sounds like everyone enjoyed their meals. He didn't specifically comment on the atmosphere, but I'm sure I would've heard something if it was 'dead'.

Looks like a cross fit gym and an organic market are going to become the first tenants in the Remington development in Bridgeland.

A Barcelona Tavern is going in 'The Windsor' (or whatever it is called now). Didn't think the first one was popular enough to warrant a second. The Browns in Brittania Plaza has been pretty successful by all accounts so far, not sure if there's enough in the area yet to prop up another bar though.

But there is a junior high school nearby so they would at least have people come in to use the cigarette machine.
