Good point. That being said, I haven't seen this much building in Oakland (except maybe on the eastside) all at once, probably ever. Much more used to lots of announcements and then nothing. Its a refreshing change.

Thanks for making an Oakland thread. It's almost shocking to finally see a high rise going up, since there have been so many proposals but so little action, until now.

Here's 1700 Webster (206 condos):




And tons of activity along Valdez (looking north from 23rd St):
