The survey of more than 200,000 passengers named the Halifax airport the top airport with fewer than 5 million passengers, and the top domestic airport worldwide.

The survey is commissioned by Airports Council International, a trade group representing more than 1,600 airports around the globe. The airport has achieved top rankings in the survey for the past four years.

I hate to say it, but that's a pretty sad commentary on the other airports in the survey if true. HIAA is a lousy airport, with far too many long walks, lousy parking, a terribly inconvenient location, and nonexistent ground transport at times.

Actually, I have always had a good experience there. As far as the parking issue goes the new parking garage facility should take care of that.
