I really like Calgary's. The slender piers, cable-stayed pedestrian crossing, lighter colours (no exposed girders), single deck for both directions... all help the bridge blend in to the natural environment. Edmonton's looks purely functional.
Both were built by the province for the cities' respective ring roads, Calgary's in 1996-1997 (as the first element of the ring road) and Edmonton's completed ~2006.
Edit: "The first leg of Stoney Trail, from the Trans Canada Highway to Crowchild Trail [including the Stoney Trail Bow River Bridge] was a City of Calgary project, with the City managing the construction, and the Province providing the majority of the funding." Source

The Stoney Trail - Bow River Bridge in Calgary, Alberta won the international award for "Structural Engineering Excellence" in 1999. The bridge was constructed in an environmentally sensitive location with limited access. Possible fluctuations in temperature of 88 degrees Celsius also had to be considered in the design. It is believed to be the first ever twin-celled incrementally launched concrete bridge.
