Here is the tent where the groundbreaking took place.

Top view of the site from the 23rd floor of the wells fargo center.

They even had one of those cool Ice sculpture of the tower. It was hot so I bet it must be melted by now. LOL

The real reason why I showed up. LOL

Well, well what do we have here.

Maybe some of you guys remember about two years ago when we played a game on here guessing on the color of the 222 South Main crane. It looks to be gray. So who ever guessed gray guessed right. LOL. I guessed blue, so I was wrong.

I bet we will see the crane set up by this time next week. Hell yea two new cranes in two week. We are on a roll here.

btw, dont let that crane base fool you.... Okland construction is doing the construction for 222 south main, and they are also doing the construction for the Crossroads block of City Creek Center. These guys just stole the crane base from their co-workers at citycreek.

Hey Bob, lets steal the crane base, I betcha they won't think of looking for it over here.

I drove by the site after work so around 5:00 pm. They had about 3 more segments on top of that crane piece that you show in your pics.

Slacker, go take another pic shot.

I bet this crane will be up by this weekend.

Also, you can say good-bye to the 2 trees in front of the site as they should be getting cut down any day now. Here are the photos.

Here's the west wall of the project.

Sidewalls wrapping up shortly. They are looking very nice. Turning out better than I had imagined.
