A place called Cajun Corner in Scarsdale. Certainly not the best in town.

You know what my favorite thing about Houston is? The palm trees. I always love pictures of Houston that have random palm trees.

Ironically, only two species of palm are native to the entire State of Texas. The Texas Sabal, which grows naturally in South Texas on the coastal prairie & the Dwarf Palmetto which grows naturally in the Piney Woods of East Texas & along the Gulf Coast.

Some palm states, such as California that have far more palm trees than Texas only has one native species. The California Fan.

Florida is just a palm lovers paradise with about 11 different species of native palm trees.
