Montreal po polsku

There are some interesting photographs in a new Montréal thread in the Polish forum, although some look familiar - perhaps the author is also a forumer here?
http://skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=439054

Some interesting comments

There are no 'commieblocks' - the ones that do exist are not large, not many in a single area, often organized in a row within a low-density area.

Building colours: cream, beige, red brick (dominant), brown, grey... Very few lively colours. Perhaps there is an established code for colours or a deep sense of conformity and conservatism, but that's what it seems like.

w dali stadion olimpijski z 1978 roku.
Olympic stadium from 1978; not yet paid for, sometimes things fall off of it.

Most buildings are made from wood construction, therefore each one must have two exits due to fire code.

Myslalem ze wszystko jest tam dwujezyczne.
I thought everything there was bilingual.

It looks like their snow removal is on the same level as ours, perhaps worse!

A view of Mount Royal, it is not, and never was a volcano despite rumours.

I believe they also managed a depanneur called Benny while there too.
