The vast majority of our population growth will be here in St. John's. that is exciting for us. but I also find it very depressing that rural NL, the heart and soul of Newfoundland, is dying. St. John's needs to grow very wisely if we are to sustain a much larger population. We need to start attracting young people and young companies (like EA/Bioware!) here to the city if we want to survive in the future. Maybe this population growth minister will be speaking out in favor of proposal 23?? It's a long shot, i know, but I hope that powerful people will speak out in favor of this project
hopefully the North East Avalon regional plan will get moving again! seeing how it's under the provincial government's jurisdiction

We were joking about that population growth thing in my urban geography class today. My prof was like "I wonder what Ross has planned to spur population growth." The best answer from the class: "Rolling blackouts!"

Pierre will increase the baby bonus
And, although we are living in sin
If I can grab me a man in the morning
Then won't that money roll in!
