The vast majority of our population growth will be here in St. John's. that is exciting for us. but I also find it very depressing that rural NL, the heart and soul of Newfoundland, is dying. St. John's needs to grow very wisely if we are to sustain a much larger population. We need to start attracting young people and young companies (like EA/Bioware!) here to the city if we want to survive in the future. Maybe this population growth minister will be speaking out in favor of proposal 23?? It's a long shot, i know, but I hope that powerful people will speak out in favor of this project  |
hopefully the North East Avalon regional plan will get moving again! seeing how it's under the provincial government's jurisdiction
