PLUS, think its the project which is coming up along with hilite hills mega project near palazhi on NH17 Bypass by hilite builders...i think they hav got environment clearance and will launch it in the comming months...

First of all thanx for posting Hilite plaza renderings. They are awesome !!
I had posted the environmental clearance notification for this project in the previous page.

Hilite Hills proposed is 20 lakh sq ft or 20 million sq ft (20 lakh sq mtr) ?
I guess it is 20 lakh sq ft because land area is 9 acres and FAR of 4 will permit
16 lakh sq ft approximately.

If it is 20 lakh sq ft, it will not even be one of the biggest projects in Kerala.
DLF New Town heights Kakkanad is a medium size project with near 36 lakh sq ft
on 30 acres. (This is because compared to the rest of Kerala many areas of Kochi
has less FAR since it is considered close to saturation already). Even DLF is not
thought to be the biggest upcoming project in state - though they claim so now.
DLF will be soon upstaged by many other mega projects near its vicinity.
Nitesh Wimbledon Garden is over 21 lakh sq ft, Sahara Grace is close to 30 lakh sq ft,
Shwas Aquacity is over 30 lakh sq ft and I can name many more examples.
So this Hilite project cannot be the biggest project somehow.

To my knowledge the largest built up space in Kerala state will be for ETL Infra's 1000 acre
project near Poothotta, Kochi. It is spread over 6 revenue villages in two
districts Kochi and Kottayam and will have more than 100 million sq ft. Half of this
will be an SEZ in 500+ acres. ETL is among the 10 SEZ applications forwarded to
Central govt last month. Incidently this will also be Kerala's largest IT SEZ.

This is SI Glendale point, which kickstarted the highrise activity in calicut way back in 1995.

Man, this is brilliant. Calicut, of course can give other cities a run for their money. And I believe this has started construction unlike we see some huge projects else where which only exists in paper.

And there is hell lot of space available along Thondayad bypass stretch- which can be developed into a kind of 'IT corridor'. I hope authorities listen
