Get to know your Metro - Port Coquitlam

I wanted to host one of these as the last one Metro-One hosted was pretty fun! I was thinking May 28th, starting at Port Coquitlam Station, going through downtown PoCo, Traboulay Trail, along the Fraser River, up Broadway to the Coast Meridian Overpass, then ride west to Coquitlam where we can go for a cold one and all that. Total ride is 20km. The route is fairly flat except for the climb up the overpass unless we have to take Shaughnessy instead of the gravel trail section if someone has a road bike.

Anyone interested?

Make it the 28th then, because I may be sleep deprived on the 14th.

I took a ride on most of the route, I just omitted going on Broadway/Coast Meridian and chose to stick on the Poco Traboulay trail instead. It's a very easy ride, extremely flat. 50% of the trail is gravel but my touring/road bike did just fine. I could've gone another round but it's a very lovely trail out here, I feel really fortunate to have access to such a trail.

Metro-One, can we postpone this? Seems like it'll rain tomorrow and I have a lot of errands to run. It may only be you and me anyway! Come on everyone!

No problem, I was looking at the weather myself, haha. We need I nice sunny day, and maybe that way we can get a couple more on board. Come on people, leave you computers for a few minutes, where are all the bike enthusiasts we see on the biking threads?????
