I'm so glad it's been approved, I would sink if it wasn't.

I don't really know why, but I really like this building. It kinda has a late 80s early 90s feel to it for some reason, which I kinda like.

In a world that's changing so rapidly, traditional design can be comforting/grounding. 88 Scott fills that need.

I don't think I'm old enough to have the "I wish things were the way they used to be" attitude XD

Looks like Toronto will be loosing a few projects on the construction page, (due to completeion) but this project will still be a nice addition.

Shouldn't be too much longer before this is moved from the Proposals to the Under Construction section.

Lot of towers are coming off the list. I think we may even drop below 120 highrise under construction before turning around.

Having a 'wish things were the way they used to be' attitude isn't desirable, but neither is making everything look current desirable. Architectural diversity is not only vastly more interesting, but having a connection to one's past is important in understanding who you are as a people.

All cultures do this.

Moved. Crane up = officially U/C.

Someone please post a photo update of the crane and/or site progress when they get a chance. Thanks!

I don't get how this can be a fav. The design is current to this boom as well. Mind you the boom is more than a decade old now and was more common in the 2002 to 2006 range. It's glass and precast with vague references to a bygone era.
