When all the currently under-construction Midtown supertalls have topped out, how many will there be? I believe there will be 14:

Central Park Tower
111 West 57th Street
One Vanderbilt
432 Park Avenue
30 Hudson Yards
Empire State Building
Bank of America Tower
53W53
Chrysler Building
New York Times Tower
35 Hudson Yards
One57
One Manhattan West
50 Hudson Yards

Midtown Manhattan has an area of 2.254 square miles. 14 supertalls in such a small area is an impressive density! Of course this number will keep rising in the next few years.

^^^^^

That's the cool part too, only in Midtown. Not even counting the other nodes.

Don't forget The Spiral and 270 Park which is starting demo and 1000% happening.

Lots planned, and will rise. With land prices the way they are, and space being tight, up is the only way.

They keep up with the exact numbers over in the supertall thread...

I couldn't tell you off the top of my head exactly how many, because at some point the exact number becomes somewhat irrelevant.
