Various pictures of the city from winter + last summer/spring (all mine). Its been a brutal winter so far, but I still love it haha.

Summer/Spring 2017

20-floor Leonard Cohen Mural

Montreal electro parade, first of its kind in North America

Sun Life building in downtown (122m/400ft)

Nice! It's a bit cruel to go from summer to winter in the same set of photos.

Unique would entail that it doesn't resemble anything else. Montreal reminds me of Boston and Brooklyn. I suppose language differentiates and architecture differentiate it. French is far less common on this continent than Spanish and English.

Not only the French, but the vibe here is unique. I lived in other places between Canada and the U.S and they are more or less the same, but MTL is different. I can't even explain it honestly, just a different energy, and quirky too! It does look like a Boston/Philly/Brooklyn hybrid in some parts of the city though.

First city that came to mind for me as well.

Very beautiful, although I do have a difficult time saying that Montreal is the most unique city in North America. There is no way I could put it over San Francisco, New Orleans, New York City, etc... But maybe most unique in Canada!
