ANNAPOLIS, MD: Maryland's Capitol through Glowrock's Lens

Next in line for photo threads from my Washington DC trip is Annapolis, the Capitol of Maryland. One heck of a nice town!

Enjoy!

Annapolis is one of my favorites of the small capital cities.

Thanks for the kind words, STLgasm. Annapolis is a great small city, one I could easily envision myself living in if there was work out there in my field! (too bad there isn't)

A very quaint historic town! Thanks for the tour and pictures, Aaron.

Beautiful classic architecture. I love Shiplap House, it´s so nice, like the Capitol.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Nice, I've always wanted to visit Annapolis but never had the extra time when I visited this part of the country.

Thanks, toyota74. As for the widest my lens can go, I only actually used my 10-20mm a few times on these photos. Most of them were taken with my 17-50mm f2.8 Tamron lens... Only a couple with the wide-angle!

Great pictures! Annapolis' Downtown is great to walk around.

Someone already pointed out that that is the governor's mansion.

I liked the pictures inside the state house. I never got a chance to go inside before. Did you go inside Middleton Tavern? I've never been in there.

I agree with your opening statement, this sure is one heck of a town! And I love your photography treatment with this one. I seriously wish America never veered away from this development pattern...

This sign should be posted with the city limit sign on all the roads leading to every state capitol:
