Steel City, PA | 2017

Few nights in Pittsburgh, PA - 2017.

Driving down William St. was amazingly steep, and a tiny bit scary. The street was a little beat up - at some certain points when driving down it feels like you can fall off the edge at any moment.
Pittsburgh is awesome.

Pitts is cotton city, not steel. History and economics class should be taken.

Steeltown blows the doors off of Atlanta, Charlotte, and other Sunbelt cities. Those old buildings are gorgeous.

I'd have to give the advantage to Atlanta over Pittsburgh with all respect. Atlanta's downtown is huge compared to Pittsburgh and has nice looking buildings. I was born in Pittsburgh, but you're giving too much credit saying it blows the doors off Atlanta.

Maybe if you're just comparing the downtown type areas, but Atlanta can't hold a candle to the dozens of intact urban residential areas Pittsburgh has.

The pizza ovens burnt down over a year ago and they never replaced them. Sucks because they had the best pizza and it was the only reason lots of locals went there.

It's been years since I went there, but I always thought the food was mediocre (though gigundo portions). In addition, they treat their employees like total, absolute shit.

Now that there's like a dozen other breweries in town, I don't see a reason to ever go back.

Yeah I went there about 3 weeks ago with my gf and it was absolute shite. The service was terrible, no bomb pizza; but at least the beer was good although extremely expensive, was over 120 bucks after like 6 beers and 2 entrees which weren't memorable. They need their pizza back badly.

I certainly wouldn't consider DT Atlanta to be huge compared to DT Pittsburgh. It is more spread out, so covers a larger land area, but DT Pittsburgh packs just as much into a smaller area. Also, Pgh has a pretty large amount of early 20th century buildings, and newer ones, while Atlanta's is mostly newer.
