Houston is like the most unattractive city in America.

I'm not seeing what makes this place so unattractive from looking at these pictures.

RIP old Y. sadly it would have been an expensive clusterf**** to rennovate due to layout and size.

It might have been expensive but it would have been worth it. That was a gorgeous building and historic. Both are rare traits in dt Houston.

I don't think Houston is an entirely unattractive city myself (I grew up there, and miss the subtropical greenery), and it does have character.

But, I don't agree one bit that Phoenix is ugly - it is considerably prettier than many U.S. cities. However, it is sprawly, and lacks much of the character found in areas of Houston. The area though is gorgeous, and there are numerous parks, etc.

I will have to say that the prettiest place I have ever been, and Ive been all around the world and America is southeast AZ. The Sonoran Desert is incredibly beautiful, especially around Tucson. Suguara National Park is prettier than Banff NP in Canada, and any other national park that I can think of. But, Phoenix and Tucson are extremely sprawly; the natural beauty surrounding them sort of makes up for it though.

I have never been to Houston but this pic is quite horrifying! It reminds me of State Road 50/Colonial Drive in Orlando!

otherwise interseting pics!
