they've had a sign with that name and render for quite a long time now.

The lot just to the west was cleared up a while back too. I think it is part of the same project.

On Guilby and Shaw in South Coquitlam there are some lots that had houses that were cleared a few years ago for two 6 storeys, I saw a render somewhere and the name but I can't find it, anyway, last week sometime they cleared out all the trees for it, sad to see such big trees go but looks like something will be getting started finally.

Port Moody is dropping their design panel and will be trialling contracting out design review services with the applicant footing the bill.

Second time they scrapped it.

The committee ultimately voted to disband the ADP, with Councillor Amy Lubik and Councillor Haven Lurbiecki opposed, in what is the City's second time disbanding the ADP (before reinstating it in June 2020).

Nice pics! That is a dramatic change from the last time I parked there to hike around Burnaby Mountain which was probably just over a year ago.

It's really impressive how all the towers are rising at the same time. Makes for a really busy site with all the tower cranes and it is really giving Oakridge run for its money.

One thing that's still missing around Burquitlam station is a project that adds proper commercial space and not just doctor's offices. Lougheed is nicely served by the mall, the new space under Shape's new towers, Korea Town etc...

I live around Foster Avenue and it's still a bit of a wasteland. The new towers going up don't seem to be adding much, except for Highpoint. This is why I cannot wait until Burquitlam Plaza is redeveloped. But who know when that's going to happen.

Never been to Trees Coffee, but I'm excited to have something new in the area. My wife and I walk over to BjornBar Bakery sometimes. In the winters it's a bit of a trek though. So a closer shop would be great! Good news.

I saw a for sale sign over on that lot with the European grocery store and Church's Chicken on North Road.

I had a quick glance at it and it mentioned two towers. I will miss that European deli.
