St. Stanislaus Church - Modesto, California - Finished - Photos

SIZE: 26,250 square feet

HEIGHT: 91 feet at top of gold-leaf cross, which is on top of copper dome

LOT SIZE: 30 acres; church with gathering plaza is on 12.53 acres

SEATING: 1,300

COST: $16 million

ARCHITECT: Shelly Hyndman of Hyndman & Hyndman

CONTRACTOR: T.B. Penick & Sons

ARCHITECTURE: Designed in Gothic cruciform layout with altar at center of cross

MATERIALS: Exterior has limestone from Missouri quarry; baptismal pool features mosaic from Ravenna, Italy; baptismal fount is solid bronze cast; altar made with red dragon granite top

FUTURE FEATURES: Stained glass windows, adoration chapel, meditative labyrinth, devotional gardens, youth gardens, play fields, amphitheater, patios and plazas
