That's a funny statement. LA has tons of high rises but is so spread out and enormous in scale with a lot of low rises in-between that it doesn't give you that impression.

I start working in Century City next week, so hopefully will have more frequent updates of this as well as surrounding projects.

Does CC have a height limit? I'm not a fan of CC even as a "second hub" but this is a step in the right direction. The more residential, the merrier.

^ Yes, Century City has a FAA-imposed height limit (roughly 600 ft, if memory serves me) due mostly to the Santa Monica Airport. Now, that could theoretically change if that Airport shuts down, which has been discussed recently. But I would suspect the FAA height limit would not be lifted until the airport is shut down indefinitely, which wouldn't be decided for some time.

As for Century City being a "second hub", that would be much more realistic once the Purple Line runs underneath it, which eventually will happen.

Sunset view in the distance, to the right. Not a bad extension of the Century City skyline.
