A few new pics from a couple of weeks ago and today. As you can see, the steel part of the extension is starting to go up and they have started a bit of painting in random spots.

The back as seen from Water Street:



The Duckworth Street side...note the new paint job



Maybe this is the final color??

Drove by last evening and the entire height of the building is now this color (spanning only about 3 window sections so far). This image from their website seems to indicate the colour scheme:

I just hope they are using a high quality paint, not something that will flake off after a couple of years.

Just received an e-mail from The Hardman Group stating that they're aiming to begin public tours of the model apartments and general area by late February. Seems a little optimistic to me but I'm glad things are progressing nicely!

So the city is finally re painting the retaining wall on McBrides Hill the connects to MIX. They already have removed the existing mural that was flaking. Rumors is the new mural will be something related to the great fire.
