So is this going to get the nickname 'Pontiac Tower'? It's similarity to their logo is actually pretty striking...

Lol. WTF? How do you look at 181 Fremont and start thinking about the Pontiac logo? People really get way out there.

Shooting for the Starts

I'm happy to see that the cross beam as reached the mechanical penthouse today. View is from the Civic Center.

^^Were I going condo shopping at these heights, literally and financially, I'd bring some ball bearings to roll across the floors just in case.

Is Millennium Tower still sinking and tilting? Won't the next major earthquake really f*&k that building up even more whereby it will become uninhabitable?

The net over the rooftop playground next door appears to be gone (frame still there so far although part of it may have been removed). I guess since this side of the exterior of the building is essentially complete, it isn't needed any more.

Taken today by me.

Facebook Tower?

Rumor has it that Facebook is looking into leasing some office space in the tower.

Until it starts sending unsolicited friend requests to all the towers around it.

I ache for them to fill in that gap in cladding on the corner below the spire. I've been watching for weeks asking myself, "Is today the day?" and it never comes.
